เรียกได้ว่าโมเดลรถกู๊ตเตอร์ XMAX300 ที่ขายกันอยู่ทั่วโลกนั้น อยู่ในช่วงอายุขับสุดท้ายแล้วจริงๆ ซึ่งคาดการณ์ไว้ว่าในไทยจะมีการปรับโฉมใหม่แบบ All New ในช่วงปลายปีนี้ โดยปัจจุบันทาง Yamaha ก็ทำ XMAX300 รุ่นพิเศษต่างๆ ออกมาขายแทน สำหรับในไทยก็จะเป็น Yamaha XMAX300 SP นั้นเอง ที่มาพร้อมของแต่งสุดพิเศษหลาย และเปิดตัวไปเมื่อช่วงปลายเดือน มีนาคม ที่ผ่านมา

 

ที่ประเทศบราซิลก็เช่นกัน ก็มีการเปิดตัวรุ่นพิเศษ 2022 Yamaha XMAX Darth Vader Limited Edition ซึ่งเน้นเป็นการตกแต่งเพื่อความสวยงามเพียงเท่านั้น พวกอุปกรณ์อื่นๆ ไม่ได้มีการปรับปรุงใหม่แต่อย่างใด

สโลแกนของ 2022 Yamaha XMAX Darth Vader Limited Edition ก็คือ “The dark side of your garage.” แปลเป็นไทยก็คือ “ด้านมืดของโรงรถของคุณ” แต่เรื่องที่น่าสงสัยอยู่เล็กน้อยก็คือ การโปรโมทเหมือนจะใช้หนังดังอย่างทาง Star Wars มาเป็นธีมในการออกแบบ แต่บริษัทไม่ได้ลงรายละเอียดใด ๆ ว่าเกี่ยวข้องด้วย

ทั้งนี้ 2022 Yamaha XMAX Darth Vader Limited Edition มาในโทนสีดำที่ให้ความรู้สึกลึกลับ และดูดุดันไปในตัว ซึ่งยังมีลายกราฟิกสีแดงที่ตัดกับสีดำ ทำให้รถมีโดดเด่นมีมิติมากกว่าเดิมอีกด้วย

สุดท้ายนี้เพื่อความเป็น Limited Edition ทำให้มีการผลิตในจำนวน 200 คันเพียงเท่านั้น และมีราคาจำหน่ายอยู่ที่ $6,033 ประมาณ 207,000 บาท ซึ่งก็มีราคาใกล้เคียงกับ Xmax300 ที่ขายอยู่ในบ้านเราก็ว่าได้
