Yamaha Motor จัดตั้งแผนกใหม่ เน้นวิจัยพัฒนาสำรวจเทคโนโลยีใหม่

 

นี้อาจจะเป็นเรื่องของการเปลี่ยนผ่านของวงการรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ของ Yamaha ก็เป็นได้ เมื่อ Yamaha Motor (บริษัทแม่ที่ญี่ปุ่น) ได้ประกาศจัดตั้ง Yamaha Motor Exploratory Fund, L.P. II ซึ่งเป็นแผนกวิจัยพัฒนาสำรวจเทคโนโลยีใหม่ โดยเน้นโอกาสที่จะสามารถต่อยอดได้ในอนาคต และแผนกนี้จะมีเงินทุนในการวิจัยตลอดระยะเวลา 10 ปีอยู่ที่ 100 ล้านดอลลาร์

 

ทั้งนี้ปัจจุบัน Yamaha Motor ได้ให้ความสนใจไปในด้าน Transportation, Robotics, Data/AI, Fintech/insurtech, และ Digital health ตลอดจน Wellness ซึ่งบอกได้ว่าทางบริษัทไม่ได้ให้ความสนใจเพียงแค่ยานยนต์อีกต่อไป ครอบคลุมไปถึงด้านสุขภาพเลยทีเดียว

 

การลงทุนในครั้งนี้ยังไม่มีใครบอกได้ว่าปลายทางอีก 10 ปีข้างหน้าจะเป็นแบบไหน Yamaha Motor คงต้องรอลุ้นกันไปนั้นล่ะ ซึ่งในวันที่เทคโนโลยีต่างๆ ปรับเปลี่ยนไปอย่างรวดเร็วจนน่าตกใจ อะไรมันก็สามารถเกิดขึ้นได้จริงๆ สำหรับเรื่องแบบนี้
